Rawalpindi, The leadership of the Alliance of the nationalist and progressive elements, groups, organizations and political parties of Pakistan-Administered-Jammu Kashmir (PAJK) and Occupied Gilgit-Baltistan (OGB), All Parties National Alliance (APNA) – Sardar Sabir Kashmiri, Advocate, Mirza Wajahat Hassan Khan, ex-chairman APNA, M. Iqbal, Advocate, Shahid Hussain, Advocate, Farooq Niazi, Arif Shahid, Prof. MARK Khaleeque, Mirza Nadir Hassan Khan, Mehfooz Tahir, Mahmood Baig, Advocate, Safdar Ali, Burhan Ullah, Manzoor Parwana, Wajid Ali Wajid, Advocate and some others have, in a joint statement, congratulated the foreign secretaries of India and Pakistan and their respective delegations for concluding round of talks successfully this time, which may go a long way in introducing, establishing and maintaining durable peace in the South Asia (SA), especially in the Subcontinent. They said that APNA was satisfied and happy over the pace of talks and the ending happy note, for it had always been opposing violence, militancy and terrorism and pleading and demanding for the same positive manner of resolving disputes in the region.
They said that basic disputes between India and Pakistan were not so serious as disputes between India and China, USA and China or between some other countries of the world, but the enemies of peace, progress and prosperity in both the countries have tried to paint and convert these disputes as extremely dangerous. They hoped that unlike past this tempo of positive thinking and friendship would be allowed to continue in the subsequent talks at all levels till the gradual resolution of all the disputes. The leadership of APNA have further demanded the relaxation in the visa regime, opening of the more trade routes and tourism, allowing more and more people to meet each other easily and frequently, especially people near Line of Control (LOC) in Jammu Kashmir, provision of facilities to exchange various professionals and students and granting the status of `Most Favourite Nation' (MFN) to each other. These steps, they were sure, would end the chronic and acute bitterness and tension of 63 years and the people of both the countries would have a sigh of relief.
