* After Gen. Zia's demise, power to dismiss the Parliament was left in the hands of Army Puppet President Ghulam Ishaq Khan so, Pak Army could dissolve any Elected Government that did not understand that real ruler from behind the Curtain is Army. But why was Democracy staged by Gen. Aslam Baig instead of taking over after Gen. Zia?
* Because the season had changed. USA was no longer backing un-elected Military Regimes and had wanted Democracy in all 3rd World Countries and if Army of any country did not care, that country was thrown out of Commonwealth, all Charity of Aid was stopped, IMF used to starve it for Loans and UN Sanctions were imposed.
* Army did fine as long as President could dismiss the Parliament on its whims but later, Nawaz Sharif reduced power of the President and dismissed his own Benefactor the PPP President Farooq Laghari because of whom Benazir was dismissed and he had gotten elected.
* Now all the power rested in Prime Minister. Nawaz Sharif took full advantage of it and dismissed C-in-C Gen. Karamat only for issuing some comments that he didn't like. This made GHQ people very mad.
* When Nawaz Sharif tried to replace another C-in-C Gen. Musharraf with his own distant relative by giving him double promotion, it ended GHQ's patience and he was overthrown without permission of Musharraf.
* GHQ had never thought of consequence of this so, Pakistan got kicked out of Commonwealth, UN Sanctions were imposed on Pakistan and USA was asking Gen. Muisharraf, when is he going to hold Elections just like Gen. Zia was being told to hold elections but without imposition of any sanctions because he was co-operating with USA against USSR's Army in Afghanistan.
* Just like Gen. Zia, Gen Muisharraf got lucky because Mollaa Omar had refused to make Osama stand trial even in a 3rd Moslim Country and USA had decided to attack Taliban and their backer Pakistan Army.
* Musharraf surprised USA by agreeing to co-operate against Taliban so, UN Sanctions were lifted and tons Charity of Aid and Loans had started flowing to Pakistan, breaking all previous records.
* Foreign Exchange starved Pakistan broke Foreign Exchange Reserves record, GDP, Per Capita Income and Export Earnings doubled in just 5 years but USA had still wanted Musharraf gone and Democracy.
* Benazir had promised to USA that if she was put back in power, she would make Pak Army stop infiltration of Taliban in to Afghanistan, end Taliban Problem and banish all JehaaDi Groups so, she was picked despite that she and her husband were convicted by a Swiss Court for Money Laundering because USA had no other choice and had found that Nawaz Sharif had links with Al Qaeda and was pro Taliban.
* Learning this, Nawaz Sharif in London had also told USA that he would do the same but after all cases against him were withdrawn and he landed in Pakistan, he had changed his mind as usual like a 'tota chasham' Parrot.
* On US Orders, Pres. Musharraf had to withdraw cases against Benazir and Zardari in Switzerland and in Pakistan against Nawaz Sharif so, he said, why should not I withdraw cases against Altaf also instead of just Nawaz Sharif brothers? He withdrew cases against all of them.
* Now the question is, how come Supreme Court does not talk about re-instating Criminal Cases against all of the Politicians on Criminal cases against that were withdrawn by Pres. Musharraf instead of just talking about re-instating against Zardari if Supreme Court is not being forced to do this by Gen. Keyani?
* An attempt on Benazir's life was made immediately as she landed in Pakistan to prove to USA, who is the Boss in Pakistan and then finally she was successfully assassinated to make the would be elected Political Leadership weak and more vulnerable against might of Pak Army.
* When Zardari came in power, Parliament could not reverse its previous action of giving all power to President so, Zardari now had all the powers that Gen. Musharraf had and he even started using that power to have good relations with India, end war against his Balochis and action against Taliban and other JehaaDi Groups.
* No action was taken against Taliban or other JehaaDi Groups by Army. It had already won in Baluchistan so it stopped its atrocities on Baluchistan and then torpedoed negotiations with India by Mumbai Attacks.
* Zardari never knew Pak Army was behind Mumbai Attacks so, he ordered ISI Chief to go to Mumbai and co-operate with Indian Investigators.
* Gen Keyani vetoed ISI Cheif's 'go to Mumbai' orders by sitting elected President of Pakistan in violation of Pak Constitution and started a campaign against him so he could be overthrown on grounds of being un-popular and treasonous.
* Still, Gen. Keyani had to make sure that UN Sanctions are not going to be imposed on Pakistan if he overthrows Zardari so, he came to Washington seeking permission more than a year ago. He was refused and told to 'stop interfering in Domestic Politics and do his job' (of crushing Taliban and JehaaDi Groups).
* Gen. Keyani made Campaign against Zardari go full speed after that instead of obeying Obama's orders but failed to make Pakistanis come on the streets demanding Zardari's resignation or any Parliamentary action though he succeeded in reducing Zardari's power.
* After this failure, despite that Zardari had granted extension of his services instead retiring him, Gen Keyani ordered the same Pak Establishment (that had withdrawn Swiss Cases in 2006) to ask Switzerland to issue Interpol Warrants for Zardari's arrest (, not knowing that nobody can issue such Warrants against a sitting Head of State except UN's International Tribunal on Human Rights. I guess, he had never thought Zardari is a 'sitting Head of State'. ... If you remember, Gen. Ayub had taken similar action against his Benefactor Gen. Iskander Mirza for getting his retirement extended in 1958.
* When Pak Establishment had failed, Gen Keyani had ordered Supreme Court to declare Zardari disqualified.

All Gen. Keyani did by this fruitless effort of asking Switzerland to issue Warrants against Zaradari, make the world laugh more at Pakistan.
The Problem Army is facing is, that situation is not the same as it was in Gen. Zia days. Zia had not back-stabbed USA but now USA knows, ...
a) Pak Army has back-stabbed her by re-grouping the defeated Taliban after they had fled to Pakistan after replacing Mollaa Omar with an Army Colonel.
b) Taliban had were put on Army Pay Roll, new Training Camps were built for them, more of them were recruited, they were re-armed and Pak Army had started infiltrating them back in to Afghanistan by the end of 2003.
c) ISI pays Bounty for every Foreign Soldier killed by Taliban in Afghanistan just like it pays Parents of young JehaaDis, who get killed in Indian Occupied Kashmir.
If Gen. Keyani overthrows Zardari, he makes Pakistan face wrath of USA, which could be from UN Sanctions to bombing of Pak Army in to Stone Age or Green Light to India to attack Pakistan in retaliation of recent Pak Army caused JehaaDi Problem in Indian Occupied Kashmir.
Even Pakistan's so called 'fast friend' China stopped trusting Pak Army after Gen. Keyani told her in Beijing that he had no knowledge of the JehaaDi Camp near her border that is financing, training, arming and infiltrating back in to Western China the JehaaDi Chinese Moslims. China quietly moved her 11,000 Troops in to FATA to secure her border to end ISI's ambition of causing trouble for China. I wonder what happened to Pak Sovereignty that Army has been scraming about against US Drone attacks, when one Division of Chinese Army has taken over northern FATA and has built its Military Bases there now?
Oh I forgot, Sovereignty becomes endangered only when Drone Attacks are killing Pak Army 'irregulars' or Mercenaries called Taliban and not if a Foreign Nation that Pak Army has been using as a Trump Card against USA and India for decades takes over a huge part of Pakistan because of its distrust of Pak Army.
Lets sit and watch how far can our hegemonic Pak Army go to re-establish its authority by a coup de tat, risking future or existence of Pakistan ...!
