Another reason to keep our distance from Pakistan PDF Print E-mail
Articles
Out of the many reasons as to why Kashmir should not join into a plebiscite with Pakistan, another reason has been highlighted today on a 9-page spread on a popular tabloid newspaper; Daily News of the World. The headline news today is the match fixing
case by the Pakistan's cricket team. It is highly tragic to see that in the blessed month of Ramadhan, the Pakistani cricket team prefer to earn their blessings in the shape of money from cheating and betting rather than earning blessings from the Almighty Allah. Now another organ of Pakistan has proven itself to be corrupted and shameless, like every other organ. However, this is not the first nor the last wrongdoing undertaken by Pakistan, if I began listing them all I doubt I would be able to fit them all in one email so I will rather pick out the most recent acts of Pakistan to prove that the Kashmir National Party agenda of not becoming part of  Pakistan is correct.

(1) Firstly, another recent headline about the current floods in Pakistan show that to save a particular area of land those in power in Pakistan are prepared to concentrate the force of the floods in an area where over fifty thousand innocent people could have drowned. By God's grace though this vicious act was prevented by the ordinary public and the media.

(2) Secondly. the charity and help the Pakistan's government received internationally during the Kashmir earthquake was mostly transferred into the their personal Swiss accounts. The millions of pounds and dollars worth of aid was not even seen by the innocent and needy public. Could there be anything more shameless than this?

(3) For the sake of money Pakistan cricketers have even forgotten their careers, their reputation and the name and the fame of their country. A prime example of this is the 18 year old cricketer Mohammad Amir who still has his whole life in front of him, enough time, opportunities and talent to make a name and money but it is clear to see that fraud runs through their blood.

(4) It is very clear to see that Pakistan doesn't hold an ounce of humanity in their blood. At the moment these humans are given worse treatment than animals. The prime example of this can be seen in the recent murder of two innocent young men in
Sialkot. Murder in fact is an under statement, these men were treated as no person has ever seen before. Their dead bodies were left crippled and barely recognisable.

(5) This country does not hold value or respect for their women. First it was merely difficult for women to step out on streets alone without them being disrespected or humiliated but after the incident with Muktharin Mi. being gang raped brutally not only did she not receive any comfort or justice from her own country but in fact when she some how fled to America the President of Pakistan at the time Pervez Musharaff in an interview in America said that no rape had in fact occurred and this was just a common lie told by many women to gain political asylum overseas. Could there be a bigger insult to a nation of women, where instead of receiving justice they are further raped of their remaining respect by their own government.

(6) Not only this, in this country for a little bit of money the government even sell their own respectable and honourable women. Instead of protecting their people from accusations from foreign countries, innocent people are sold to suffer in Guantanamo Bay. Dr Affia Saddiqui, a honourable doctor in profession, instead of being rewarded for saving peoples' lives, is punished and is still being punished for saving lives. Does this mean in Pakistan people who do right are punished and people who do wrong like the murders of Sialkot are let free.

(7) To save their corrupt government white phosphorus was used to destroy lives of innocent children in Lall Masjid who were reciting the holy Quran at the time. In a country who claims themselves to be an islamic country a Masjid was destroyed, the Quran was thrown at peoples' feet and imaam's were murdered. Why would Kashmir and Kashmiris want to plebiscite and be governed by this disgusting authority?

(8) On the instruction of a foreign authority Pakistan destroyed their own cities; people of Swat, Bajoor and many other cities were left devastated because America claimed that terrorists resided there. instead of protecting their people and keeping their own people happy, Pakistan killed its own people to keep America happy.

(9) Pakistan never seems to learn from its mistakes and a country who cannot learn from their mistakes cannot make any progress? First Mohammad Asif was caught in a drug scandal in Dubai and instead of learning from this, he then went one step forward and became involved in Pakistan's most recent match fixing scandal.

(10) What can be done with a country where people in authority and in the figure of care are acting selfish and attempting to save their own property rather than attempting to save their country. The federal minister of Pakistan proudly
announced that he had done no wrong in attempting to save his own property, doesn't everyone do that? No Minister saab, people in your position who are looked upon for support do not try to save their own home while millions of
your own people are drowning as a result. When a nation becomes proud of their own wrongs then there is no hope left for resolution.

(11) Not only this, the country's own President is on a tour in the UK while his country is drowning, is there any sense behind this, any moral? Can another level of shame be reached by this country, when will the limit be reached?

(12) It can be seen very clearly that Pakistan does not have one face . It is very difficult to establish which face is true and which is false. In one room in the UK where the President of Pakistan was apparently attacked by a shoe, it still cannot be established whether this story is true. Two ministers sitting in one room were telling two completely different stories to the media. Not only are these people liars and two faced but they are also incapable of telling a
decent lie!

(13) We are all witness to the fact that whoever has been close to Pakistan and holds it dear to their hearts has either been hanged or wiped out. Examples can be taken from Z.U Khan and Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto. The only people who succeed in Pakistan are those who are out to loot it of its value and merit.

This is only the beginning of a tale which still has plenty left to be told but I am sure this is enough to prove to anyone that Kashmir should never ever
plebiscite with a country like Pakistan. Pakistan is a contaminated country and joining hands with it will only allow the disease to spread through Kashmir as
well. No proper thinking, right minded Kashmiri would want this union as it certainly is a marriage made in hell!
